RV Transport

Transport FAQ

Everything you need to know before booking your transport.

Do you transport RVs nationwide or just in Texas?

We transport nationwide. While we're based in Austin, TX, we deliver to all 48 contiguous states. No move is too far.

Do I need to be present at pickup or delivery?

No. Many of our customers aren't on-site. We conduct a documented pre-trip inspection with photos at pickup and verify condition at delivery. You'll have a full record of your RV's condition at both ends.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold active federal motor carrier authority (USDOT 4552953, MC 1808432) and Texas state operating authority (TxDMV 010313964C), with full commercial cargo and liability insurance on every haul.

How much does RV transport cost?

Each quote is built per job from the real cost of the route — diesel fuel (priced from the current EIA national average), per-mile operating cost, and the driver's time — plus a small margin on the costs. That comes to one all-inclusive Transport line covering equipment, driver, insurance, and fuel, with no separate fuel surcharge. Short local moves are billed at a minimum of $350 (under 10,000 lb GVWR) or $450 (10,000 lb and above). No broker markups — you work directly with us. See the pricing explainer, request a quote, or call (512) 593-1673.

Are you a broker or do you do the transport yourself?

We do the transport ourselves. No brokers, no middlemen. You communicate directly with the driver from first contact to delivery.

What size RVs can you tow?

We tow bumper pull travel trailers, fifth wheels, and gooseneck-hitch units. Our 2024 Ram 3500 DRW is rated for heavy loads. We've hauled everything from small single-axle trailers to 42-foot fifth wheels.

Do you transport food trailers and event trailers?

Yes. We move food trailers, concession trailers, and specialty event trailers throughout Texas and beyond. We understand event scheduling and communicate proactively about timing so your trailer arrives ready for your next opening. See our food trailer transport page for details.

Are your drivers CDL certified?

Yes. All drivers are CDL-certified with active DOT medical certificates and operate under a random drug testing program.

What is the Smart Haul program?

Smart Haul is a third-party RV transport accountability program. Enrollment signals to customers that we meet a verified standard of insurance, licensing, and operating practices — an added layer of protection beyond basic DOT requirements.

Can you transport a fifth wheel without a truck?

Yes — that’s exactly what we do. We supply our own 2024 Ram 3500 DRW equipped with both a fifth wheel hitch and a gooseneck hitch, so we can handle standard pin-box fifth wheels and gooseneck-converted units alike. You don’t need a tow vehicle; we handle everything from pickup to delivery. See our fifth wheel transport page for more.

How do I verify an RV transporter is legitimate?

Check their USDOT number on the FMCSA SAFER system to confirm active operating authority and insurance. Our Verify Carrier tool lets you look up any carrier’s authority, safety record, and insurance status in seconds — and compare them to our own credentials (USDOT 4552953).
